I capture memories from those "hazy" early days of having a brand new baby in the family, since the chances of you remembering them are slim to none. The goal is to create a little peek into your baby moon period, which is so fleeing and magical.

HOW DO I RESERVE YOU FOR A PHOTO SESSION?

As soon as we have decided on a date and time for your event you can pay the required deposit and you will be officially booked!

WHERE DOES THE SESSION TAKE PLACE? DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?

Newborn and baby sessions almost always take place at home because it’s a comfortable and natural environment. Maternity sessions can also be photographed at home, or it’s nice to head outside and use the East Bay as your background!

what if my baby is fussy?

Please don’t worry! It’s completely normal for baby to become fussy at least once during the session, and we can take as many breaks as we need :)

DO YOU PROVIDE DIGITAL NEGATIVES (RAW FILES) AFTER THE SHOOT?

You will be provided with edited images only. Each picture is hand edited and will be a representation of my work. Be sure to look at my portfolio to ensure my work and style are a good match for you.

i saw these pictures on pinterest - can we do those?

I love Pinterest as much as the next girl! But Pinterest is best used as an initial source of inspiration, rather than a strict guideline for your photographer. If we’re focused on recreating someone else’s photos, that will leave us less time to create shots that showcase the unique aspects of your family. If you do want to use Pinterest to help you plan your session, look at it as general inspiration — for instance, use it to figure out what style of photos you like, and then search for a photographer whose images match that style.

can other family members jump in on the session?

Sessions are limited to immediate family members for the majority of the session. However, if grandma and grandpa are in town, they’re more than welcome to jump in a few of the shots! Same goes for fur babies!

WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP THE SESSION GO SMOOTHLY?

The BEST thing you can do is to let go and enjoy! I know it’s hard not to be stressed before your session, but babies pick up on anxiety really easily. We’ll have the best chance at getting gorgeous images if we let them happen naturally (with a little guidance from me, of course!) I want your pictures to be amazing and will do all the hard work for you! Your only job is to relax and have fun.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHICH PHOTOS TO EDIT/ WHY DON'T YOU EDIT ALL THE PHOTOS FROM MY SESSION?

During our photo session, you probably will notice me taking several images of the same pose. I carefully go through each one choosing the best from each pose and narrowing it down further to make absolutely sure you have the cream of the crop. These narrowed images are then fully edited by me! Images are edited at my discretion, and delivered shots may not include all the images you remember having been shot. I will pick and edit only the best within my artistic standards.

WHAT RIGHTS DO I HAVE TO THE DIGITAL PRINTS?

You will receive reproduction rights to all your images. This gives you the right to reproduce the images for personal use, so you can use them for prints, sharing them on your social media, making canvases, etc. Commercial use is not allowed if not separately agreed on.

I shoot with professional Nikon equipment, including two full frame cameras {Nikon z6ii and Nikon D810}, prime lenses {35mm, 50mm, 85mm} as well as my zoom lenses, 70-200mm and 24-70mm
